Sales Executive

For our head office located in South Wales we are looking for a sales executive!

MORE THAN JUST STAINLESS STEEL
STAPPERT is a leading stockist of stainless, highly corrosion resistant and heat resistant steels. With direct access to 20,000 product lines STAPPERT is the contact for stainless steel requirements. The sale of a wide and varied product range including round, hollow, flat, square and hexagonal steel, tubes and fittings, as weil as angles, profiles and sheets makes us unique. STAPPERT UK Ltd has been trading since 2014 and is growing from strength to strength in the stainless steel market.

YOUR PROFILE
Our ideal new team member will have these characteristics:

• Previous sales experience is desired but not essential
• Accuracy, attention to detail, quality awareness, great commitment and the ability to work under pressure
• First hand experience with steel products, preferably stainless long products, is an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office and practical experience in using or warehouse management programmes
• We expect you to be able to play a key part in our ever expanding team

YOUR TASKS
This is a great opportunity to join STAPPERT UK and become part of our UK sales team. Your main responsibilities will be to support our sales team with the following:

• Business development
• Generate business from new and existing customer accounts
• Understand our product range and services to promote them in the best possible way
• Contribute to our sales and marketing strategy
• Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
• lntegrate as part of a team success, for a common goal
• Diversify sales
• Recognize and introduce opportunities for value-added sales
